Shawwal 1443 Shawwal 1443 *MOON SIGHTING UPDATE* Assalamu-Alaikum, *Moon Was Not Sighted* Respected Ulamaa, Brothers and Sisters, The crescent moon to commence the month of Shawwal 1443 AH was looked for after the sunset on Saturday 30th April 2022. Reports from committees confirm that the moon was not sighted. THE HILAL COMMITTEE OF TORONTO & VICINITY has accepted these reports and has declared that the month of Ramadan 1443 AH will complete 30 days. Therefore, the 1st day of Shawwal 1443 AH will be on Monday May 2nd 2022.
